At PBscience we believe that the best approach to get the most out of your training and event preparations is to work with a coach and develop a relationship that allows your training to be guided and adjusted in partnership. However, we also recognise that there is a role for a training plan approach in preparing for an event. It might not be the perfect solution but it's an improvement on training without structure and for many people it's the ideal way to get an introduction to srtuctured training, even on a modest budget. We have two main options when it comes to selecting a PBscience training plan.

TP-LOGOTraining Peaks plans

Check out our library of training plans delivered through the Training Peaks online platform. These plans are a distillation of over 10 years experience writing plans and are designed to give you 100% confidence in the training that you are doing. There is so much information out there on different training techniques and session (this website included) so these plans are our attempt to take that knowledge and feed it into a format that you can follow without constantly second-guessing your approach. If you're still not sure if this approach is for you, we have a number of free training plans that you can download. This is a great way to see how you get on with following a plan, to get a taster for the style with which we deliver our training and perhaps also learn a little about how to use the Training Peaks diary.

Bespoke Training Plans

If you're after something 'made to measure' and with a coach consultation to to get you on your way then a bespoke training plan is the way to go. An in depth chat with your coach will help establish your goals and a lifestyle audit will identify exactly the amount of time you can commit to training each week. We then write a plan tailored to your circumstances and follow up after a week or two to make sure you've got everything you need to stick to the plan.
